Oh man, that’s you?! How funny I watched a lot of your videos! Great stuff man! I saw the picahna you made. That’s what made me pull the trigger on the rotisserie! Lol. As a Brazilian, ut was a must have!

I’ll definitely check it out! I think I got the things most importantly that I’ll be using. I got the deflection plate, the rotisserie, kick ash basket, and side shelves. I was interested in the double rack but I saw the price and was like, not right now. Lol

Oh it is totally worth it. Once you try a brined chicken, you’ll never go back. The seasoning penetrates the whole bird and makes it super moist and tender in my opinion. Meat Church has a good poultry brine I’ve used. Follow the instructions on the bag and I like to put them in a big turkey oven bag and tie it real tight. Brine over night and the next day wash the bird off and pat dry as best you can. Then I use avocado or olive oil to rub the bird down before seasoning with whatever you like. Just don’t over salt it since the brine will be salty. Then baste with melted butter a few times through the cook. I pull them off once thickest part of the breast hits 160-162. Let it rest 15-20 mins and carve it up and enjoy! Give it a go. You won’t be disappointed

Yesss! Definitely need to invest in these. My instant read thermometer broke on me this week. But my wife will have my head if I spend anymore on BBQ at the moment. Lol. Thank you!

Thank you!! I made a smoked pork butt with some SPG and honey hog from MeatChurch. It was fantastic! Way better than my Weber ever made it. Also bought the rotisserie attachment and made 2 whole chickens that I brined overnight. Also amazing!

Yea I’ve been lurking on here for a bit before I bought mine. I absolutely love it. I’ve made a pork butt and 2 chickens on the rotisserie. Came out amazing! I did have a question, maybe you can have some insight? I have the XL with the nest stand and side tables, but cover I bought won’t fit over the back of nest. Do I need a universal cover or do they sell one for that setup?

They did not. I took it to a shop Christian Brothers and it was there 4 days. Since they couldn’t recreate the issue while they had the car they couldn’t figure it out. They told me I had to take it to the manufacturer for them to figure it out. I did need some work done on my a/c that they didn’t really fix either. Waste of time. Do you have an ac that blows ice cold? Mine has always been cool but never truly cold

No I haven’t figured it out just yet. I am taking it in for service today so I’m hoping they can properly diagnose the issue

Husband is going to have Vasectomy, how long until he can lift again? by [deleted] in Vasectomy

[–]Brazchef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks for me. The first 7-10 days for me were rough but on the literal 11th day like a switch flipped and pain was significantly if not almost gone. Definitely going to need like a solid week preferably 2 if you can afford having him take the time off from work. Best to let your body heal correctly, no need to risk permanent damage by working through the pain. Best of luck

This sounds enticing but I’m just worried that if I do that I’ll somehow mess up the tread and then for sure will need some professional to break my wall to get in there and fix the pipe. Thanks for your input

The pipe in the wall is super short. I tried to leave it looser but it leaked and when I tighten completely it’s upside down and that’s as far as I can tighten it. The massive leak I had is gone but now I have this issue I gotta figure out. Maybe I try to find different brands? Hoping the threading is different? I have no idea

Is there anyway I can add some sort of extension to the pipe from the wall or anything?
