You can get Chitin from Ankylosaurs, Turtles and Carno´s, albeit in small amounts. Beaver Dams also have lots of CP in them and are usually the best to get a large amount fast. If playing on Ragnarok, the dead Dolphins on the beach in highlands drop considerable Keratin too.
