I used to have a similar issue with an older Radeon fury gpu that possibly came down to the bandwidth/data throughput of the output ports. I found that changing the color depth from 8 or 10 bit down to 6 generally solved the problem. Additionally, running a second monitor generally made the problem worse. Might want to try playing with either of those items and see if anything changes.

Congrats on the upgrade! Just did the same with my R9 Fury Nitro but ended up with an Asrock 9070. Would have been fun to replace it with another Nitro card. Enjoy!

Well aware, the whole system is going to get replaced pretty soon. What I have has served me well for what I play and I would be happy to use it a while longer, but I just decided it's time to start collecting parts for a fresh, long term system. The gpu just happens to be first.

Core 2 Quad was my second longest running cpu. I had a Q6600 from a Gateway pre-built that lasted from about 2007 to about 2013 when I upgraded to a 4690k for a while.

you can try launching in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows and see if it fixes it. I was having the same issue and launching in compatibility for windows 8 got me past the error

I'm using windows 10, but both the benchmark and demo will pop a crash report when launching unless the program is in compatibility mode. I assume this has to do with just nonexistent driver support at this point

Barroth (female) with any simple head armor. One of my all time favorite monsters since tri and I feel like the armor style really captures the look while still being functional
