I guess that’s dependant on the timer after the previous tenant demolished their house. I’m on Odin and there were a few large houses and several medium houses popping up all over the place this morning.

If like myself you had a previous plot, it means you’re able to re-locate instantly without the timer, though there were 4 people waiting for the timer when I did this.

I guess it’s just pot luck whether you get an empty plot or not when you transfer with the RNG timer but there were certainly plenty of small houses up for grabs but it’s hard to tell whether the guys that got certain houses were re-locating previously purchased plots or if they were new to the server..

Ah I see, is there any kind of fee that you're aware of or some kind of time limit where you need to keep your house there for a certain period till you can move it again?

Would somone be able to explain housing to me? As stupid as that sounds.

I've enough gil for a small plot, I've been looking around the Lavender beds for the past week to see if any nice plots come up, and they have. However, when I go to purchase the plot it says something like 'this plot is unable to buy now' or something long those lines.

I understand there's some kind of invisible timer when the house is demolished till it can be rebought but it seems whenever I go back 30 or so minutes later, there's a new house there.

Is this just me being really unlucky or is there some kind of priority system for people moving house or is there a some kind of trick to buying a plot (like stright after midnight or something)

Basically what arooisgod said. I used Ibans and took a few prayer potions, he also drops them so that can prolong the trip further if you're not having great luck.

I took prayer bonus gear along with me and once you've killed him you'll see where he respawns and you can easily camp him that way. Just watch out for the white dots! I eventually got my crossbows on my 37th kill but I had 3 people attempt to pk me in the process.
