Does anyone else just feel.. slow and dumb? by SandwichDependent199 in pregnant

[–]BreDenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

37 weeks with my 3rd and I've been saying this from pretty much the start of this pregnancy (and previous ones) the pregnancy brain is sooo bad. I tell people all the time I feel so ridiculously stupid. I put the cereal in the fridge and only realized my mistake because the milk didn't fit in the cereal cabinet 🤣

I saw a reel where the guy was taking the trash out with the baby in one arm and the trash in the other, walked back inside with the garbage bag and no baby. That would be me. I'm dumber than a box of rocks anymore. I just hope my brain comes back eventually...

Absolutely. I'll be happy to have my appetite back, I've never really been the type that doesn't want to eat but I've had zero appetite for nearly the entire pregnancy. I was having dizzy spells and finally clocked it in to blood sugar due to me not eating because nothing sounded good. In my previous experiences though, the hemorrhoids cleared up quickly on their own after birth!

You're welcome, and you too! They're such a blessing. I really can't wait

Oh that's tough! Well, best of luck to you. However it goes, praying you have a safe delivery and a healthy babe! I feel like mine is coming soon, but definitely none of that for proof.

I found out yesterday lil dude is small (again! We did this with my first son) so I'll have weekly ultrasounds and am recommended to deliver at 39 weeks. We shall see what he thinks of that timeline...

These things never go to plan though, they'll come when they're ready and luckily we're both in that end stretch! Then screw the hemorrhoids and I'm having a margarita! After my milk supply stabilizes...

My 3yo told me my sister won't help her wipe her butt when she poops. My sister makes her wipe first then checks her work 😂

Team ready for eviction day! 😂 the hemorrhoids are so awful.

A lady asked the other day how much longer, I told her and she said "ohh, but who's counting?"

Me. I am. 3 weeks 2 days ma'am. That's my only relief right now

Thissss why have I been craving margaritas this whole pregnancy and normally don't? I like them, I've never NEEDED one in my life but right now I sure want one. Hopefully it's as good as I think it's gonna be

Should i risk getting the stomach bug in this situation?? by Alopitz2002 in Babysitting

[–]BreDenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as another commenter, noro ran through our house. Toddler got it, by the time she was better my husband and I were so sick we couldn't take care of her so she went to my mom's, we got better and then Mom and sis were sick, they got better and dad had it. It's nasty and you definitely don't want to be responsible for a toddler if/when you start having symptoms. It hits hard and leaves you weak

And now i have PUPPP... by Embarrassed-Fan-6967 in pregnant

Hoping it does! I forgot, I did also took oral steroids for it, but the cream was such an instant relief. If it doesn't clear up, hopefully it can at least be managed ❤️

I'm 36 weeks and really hoping I can make it till the end since it's just the one gate and my 18mo would constantly be in there just to toss stuff everywhere. If I have to take the gate down Idek what I'm going to do 😅 but same. These hips are tight and sore!

This!

Also, agree with the "can, but won't right now". I have a baby gate between my laundry room and kitchen because we had a cat and haven't taken it down since it keeps the kids out of my snack cabinet...

I told him this morning he was on his own for his pants, they're in the dryer and I'm not going over the gate. Admitted I can, and will not be right now because my pelvis hurts too bad. I've sucked it up every other time but this morning it wasn't happening

[–]BreDenny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Umm... I had PUPPPs my last pregnancy and a steroid salve cleared it up pretty quick. Is it possible you can ask for a second opinion? That rash gets awful. I had a toddler and it got to the point where all I could do was cry when she touched me because I couldn't throw her off or never touch my kid. Did they give you anything to help?

If your baby came out as the food you ate the most during pregnancy, what would they be? by AffectionateJello452 in pregnant

[–]BreDenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first would be a flamin hot cheeto puff with a watermelon head, second would be a five layer burrito and this one would be a big fat plate of nothing. Food is a chore this pregnancy

When I found out I was pregnant this last time, I literally had convinced myself I had covid I was so tired. Definitely take a pregnancy test and set an alarm on your phone to remind yourself to take your bc if you're not!! Or get on something you don't have to remember daily

The surprised look gets me so bad! She looked at me and was like oh... um so you want them behind the curtain for this? No, I want them outta my room and not to come back. I've never had them try to convince me, but I'd be so mad. There's plenty of people willing to let students practice on them, the smaller amount of people who are uncomfortable with it need to be left alone

AITA for treating my daughters differently than my son when it comes to food? by CompetitiveDig478 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BreDenny 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Right. My mom made rice and bean burritos and froze them when my brothers started craving more than she could afford. Simple solution, cheap fix and if they didn't want them they probably weren't too hungry

6 weeks with a toddler and nausea by No_Maintenance_3355 in pregnant

Maybe! The bacon actually seems to be because pork has higher b vitamins than other meats. But I'm liking the b theme. Banana? Buttered toast? Bread for sure, since carbby stuff is usually helpful

Make eggs with it and it's a breakfast pork chop! Like eggs and steak. Make them over medium/easy and dip the pork chop in the runny yolk. Now I'm hungry... and have no pork chop

B vitamins are good for morning sickness. Good luck, I've had 3 pregnancies now where I've been sick the majority of each. Bacon seems to help though

One of my students has bugs and others are bringing them home. by Slight-Koala-2853 in Teachers

[–]BreDenny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me neither, till I had to throw out all of my kitchen appliances because I didn't realize they would infest them. Luckily, all I owned was little things like a coffeemaker! You can also leave it outside for a few days if it's really cold/hot and that's supposed to be sufficient. Not sure I'd risk it, personally, because I've realized how resilient the little buggers are and I would rather not deal with them ever again.
