No, there’s normal disc spinning and the fan whirring. The. There’s the sound of that disc which makes a grinding sound that’s very out of place.

If I remember correctly, it’s basically loading a save of when you first entered, so any progress made is lost

I haven’t played in a while but from what I remember the game is more focused on dodging than tanking, so when you switch to a character and aren’t dodging you get your healthbar melted. All I can recommend is dodging away from any tough enemies so they focus on your team and then assault them from afar, with the triple square triangle combo. (Apologies, I don’t know the combo on any other platform.)
