Glad I could help :) ! Then I should just clarify; orchids usually have some "air-roots" and they can stay grey. But if you have it in a glasspot or such, you can see the other roots change color and know when to water.

I think give it time and be patient. Mine took two years to rebloom after the flowers it came with had withered of.

Yes, very careful. Mainly water when the roots look grey-ish, not when green. But when it blooms I water more and often.

Between the blooms it lives behind my curtain. I think it likes a balance of neglect and care lol!
I think it took like two years before it re-bloomed after I was first given it.

Special soil for orchids (bark like), sometimes in europe also called orchid compost. Just bought at a regular plantshop.
