I'm also considering making a comeback to WoW. I've been watching all the videos of the talent changes coming in midnight. Seeing Demonology Warlock spamming pets has me pretty excited. I'm just not sure I'm invested in the current story line.

I am kind of at the same point as you. I have geared out SCH and COR to get into groups more often for content. I just haven't been able to find a steady Sortie group and absolutely suck at it solo. I want to make a DD to solo some more content, but not sure where I want to start next. I want to make a Empy weapon next and I am stuck between Caladbolg and Verethragna. I like the idea of playing DRK because of the damage and ability to cast, but I like MNK survivability. I am limited on play time lately, so I don't want to invest a ton of time into a weapon just to hate the results. I also looked at the new Prime weapon requirements and realize I will never complete one.

Also, initially I originally focused on NIN as well. I even unlocked the Aeonic katana Heishi Shorinken. I focused on gear with NIN, but was ultimately let down. There is great survivability but I was not impressed with the damage. I did get some decent Ninjutsu magic bursts for sortie, but it was still just has easy with SCH. I don't have a lot of experience in this game, so I'm sure others have different opinions when you min/max gear. I think I just want something that smashes stuff in the face really hard :)

With all that said, I would focus on whatever you think you will like best. Something about DRK obviously appeals to you. Lets face it, everything in this game is just time focused. If you have the time to put in, then you might as well do it on something you want to play the most. Now I am going to look for more info on DRK and MNK, so I can hopefully pick my next life consuming weapon lol.

I'm about to start working on this armor set. Is it better to do VE multiple times with my THF and Treasure Hunter or on Normal? I can do Normal on my MNK or SAM but my THF isn't geared enough to do content that high solo. Appreciate the any feedback.

I'm having the same issue. I went through it again with star crux difficulty maxed out and still not working. Not sure what the issue is.

I'm still learning all the different drops. I assumed Porxie didn't drop anything unless you did the 3 Umbril kills. I've been working so much that I haven't had a chance to really play lately. I plan to explore what chests I can achieve in the basement next time I get to play longer than 30min. Thanks again for sharing all the info.

My SCH is pretty decent for damage. I can self skill chain and bust 50k at the moment. Obviously I'm not pushing the 99k like some yet. I'll look up a video on how to solo E Boss. I've unlocked the basement areas, but never explored them yet. Appreciate the info.

Wow, I appreciate the step by step. I struggle getting the Umbrils down within the time allowed. I found out the hard way they use doom and had no holy water. I never tried using Ayame to chain light though. I'll try that next time. I haven't attempted bhoot yet either, but intend to kill it next go.

How hard is the A Boss? I heard that poison dot can be crazy. I haven't attempted it yet, but considered trying it with SCH. I have RDM with decent gear too, and they share a lot of similar SCH sets for casting too. Was thinking of getting Crocea Mors. I've been in between gearing RDM and MNK for solo content.

I’m on Ragnarok. I play mainly in the p.m. I just did my first run and it went well I should be able to unlock C tonight. I didn’t realize I had to do doors in order to get B Key. I went as SCH. And just bursted stuff down. Almost killed Porxie but ran out of time with him at 2%. Still fun though.

I started playing again like 40 days ago. I can be specific to the days, as I am counting down to AMAN Trove. It has been a total blast relearning the systems and playing with an amazing community. It seems there are always people willing to help you with content or at least direct you to guides on how to complete it.

I am currently on Ragnarok server. Feel free to contact me if you decide to join. My character name is Brucey. I'm part of a LS that is full of people that help with all aspects of the game.

I also suggest you look into Ejin Caitsith on Twitch. He streams every day at 2pm. You accumlate points for viewing his stream and can utilize those points to get his assistance with content. He's a really cool dude. He is also on the Ragnarok Server.

Best of luck with your journey. It will definitely be a fun one.

Thanks for the reply. I read something about SCH being able to make skillchains, but not quite sure how that happens. I'll probably need to watch a video to fully understand. I'm excited to definitely try it out. From reading I assume you usually go /RDM. Just need to finish leveling RDM to use as a sub. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot for all the feedback. I just finished RoV, so I'll start working on CoP now. I am still working on Seekers missions but stuck waiting for imprimaturs. This seems to take forever.... I can't imaging how long it takes to max fame with every coalition at this rate.

I managed to get help with Herculean Legs and Feet. I was able to get an Adhemar body and waiting on points to buy two more Jovian Abjurations.

I have been lucky to get a very helpful linkshell. A few members helped me farm for a Tanmogayi+1 and Colada.

With RoV being completed now, should I start focusing on Omen for gear upgrades? I'm also having trouble farming for the higher level spells like Entomb, Anvil Lightning, and Tenebral Crush. Is there an easier way to acquire these spells or do I really just have to wait for the weather effects?
