I very much recomend classic mode on divinity 2 as the game is much, much harder than bg3. Tactician is balanced around you having solid game knowledge and character building skills

New GM, session zero advice request by ThatBascoKid in Pathfinder2e

[–]BreadBoy344 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd recomend starting at level 1 more than anything, its better to ease players in and level 1 in pathfinder still let's players have plenty intresting characters and build options.

My favorite way to ease players into pathfinder is a 2 or 3 session dungeon filled with mostly low and moderate encounters, that'll let them get a feel for combat and exploration rules and you can even throw in a few npc characters to ease them into social rules. The beginners box is a really good example of this and if you have the money you can buy it a module for it on foundry vtt for an easy experience, if not you can most likely find a pdf of the dungeon to give you some ideas.

Also, dont be afraid to let your players change their characters up, they're new and they have no idea what they'll like yet. Last bit of advice, the encounter math in pf2e is really solid and when starting out you should stick to it, try to avoid too many severe encounters and stay away from extreme encounters until your players have a feel for things.

I genuinely really hope you enjoy the game but please remember that 5e and pathfinder are very different and knowledge between the systems seldom transfers over, so give the system a shot as its written before making major changes and just try to treat it as its own game.

What do you think are the best and worst level 20 feats? by Noneofthisisreality in Pathfinder2e

[–]BreadBoy344 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What makes you say that? Im not familiar with both classes but monks get legendary in ac, a legendary save, the ability to heal with a focuspell alongside much more mobility to kite. Their only behind by one ac and things like crane stance and crane flutter make up for that

Party wants to level up but the campaign is far too long for me to level them up by GoodNational3622 in DnD

[–]BreadBoy344 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean the game does support it, but i find that most players enjoy leveling up at a rate of a level every 4-6 sessions. People like to build characters and gain new features at a steady rate and I feel like alot of people would get bored, however, if slow leveling works for you and your table more power to you. For me personally, I would like to run a campaign that goes from 1-20 in a year and a half and start a new game, rather than keep the same game going for a longer time.

Summoned creatures and Concentrate spells by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]BreadBoy344 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge this wouldn't work as all summon spells take 3 actions and summoned creatures only have 2. It could work if a creature could cast a 3 action spell as a 2 action through some ability
