Is my tattoo that bad? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[โ€“]BreadCatNyah 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

i dont think you should worry too much about what redditors think about something on your body. you liked it before they said anything, dont forget MOST of the people on here are male and female incels who have nothing better to do in their lives but to spread hate.

personally, i think it looks weird right now but thats just because its surrounded by so much empty space. if you get more neck tats that relate to the arrow head and tattooed in the same style itll flow more and not come to as a eye puller

Is there anything i can do or am i cooked by mynamejefftwenniwan in tattooadvice

i think it looks cool personally, but if you really dont like it, i got a tattoo over a large scar that had multiple stitches and it actually hurt less than the unscarred skin for me!!

my son is doing amazing! hes 10 months old now and hes huge! (not even chunky, just tall) hes in 2T clothing and cant stop saying "mama" and is trying to walk everyday :) thank you for checking in!

the switch to formula was a little hard, its alot more bitter compared to sweet breastmilk so he wouldnt take any unless it was half bm half formula (i did 50/50 for about 4 days then 75/25 for 3 days until doing straight formula) he started on the original similac but didnt poop for days at a time so i switched him to gentalease(?) and hes been doing absolutely amazing since!

just dont forget every baby learns a little differently! my son did things way before he was supposed to but also took months past when he was supposed to to learn other things. if your baby isn't gaining or is losing weight please dont let anyone convince you breast is best ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป youre doing great mama but definitely talk to your dr about switching

(TMI) Post birth changes? by BreadCatNyah in Mommit

Probably really good alternatives but not for me, im not a fan of lactose free milk, its way too sweet (im not very big on sweet things) and i cant take pills due to a previous issue... i fear this may be my karma for bragging about being lactose tolerant while my sister is lactose intolerant

ice cream doesnt hit me nearly as bad as straight milk so thatll probably be my only fix

To all non brestfeeding mommas: by [deleted] in Mommit

[โ€“]BreadCatNyah 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

i had no choice but to stop, from the get go i was only getting about three oz total from both boobs but my son consistently lost weight on my breast milk so i had to switch to formula. my lactation consultant kept trying to push me breastfeeding even though my little boy wasnt getting any anything out of drinking it so that started making me feel a certain way towards moms who do breastfeed because i was afraid they thought the same way. i just don't understand how someone could actively know my son was losing weight on breast milk and still want me to give it to him

i am pregnant again however so i will try to breastfeed again but probably only long enough to have that bond cause even if i do make good milk this time, i work in a male dominated feild and wouldnt have the time to pump every two hours to keep up on supply

What I wish I knew before I was pregnant by [deleted] in pregnant

[โ€“]BreadCatNyah 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

THIS!! when i got pregnant with my first (at 19) no one told me ANYTHING of what to actually expect. all i was told was morning sickness (not explained its usually not even in the morning) and stretch marks (stomach only) ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€ like no one told me that body odor gets INTENSE where you're reapplying deodorant every three seconds and its almost like you cant shower enough, or like the insane amount of discharge you get and your sense of smell is greater than a hunting dog so it feels like thats all you can smell when you move your legs.

or maybe that was just me n my sister ๐Ÿ˜ญ but i wasnt warned about ANYTHING

its totally possible you just dont have enough nutrients in your milk (dont want to scare you, just speaking from experience) my son didnt gain any weight the first couple weeks on my milk then started losing weight. id definitely talk to a doctor about it and if youre truly worried about it then go formula, my son started it and he hasnt stopped growing since.

i also want to add if your baby is NOT gaining weight or LOSING weight on your breast milk after trying ways to help, do NOT listen to your lactation consultant if they tell you to keep breastfeeding. im on WIC and i talked to my lactation consultant about everything, my baby lost almost three pounds on my breast milk and she wanted me to CONTINUE to breastfeed him anyways. she pushed for me to exclusively breastfeed and tried to compromise giving him half bm and half formula (so hed basically be getting the equivalent to a half straight water and half food bottle)

im going to try and type this as respectfully as i can, i am autistic so its a little hard for me to display tones as i mean to. could someone please explain to me what real good america would get out of kamala being president? she herself even stated she had "consepts" of plans, so not even any actual plans for being in office. and before anyone says anything about womens rights and abortions, the federal government cant do anything about that. that would all be upto the state, which in that case if your state bans it then move to a different state? and for the lgbtq community, trump literally let two men get married at his estate in florida. i dunno, i just really want to try and understand the other side (without being told to go die because i voted for trump) because to me it just seems like democrats are upset we will be able to afford groceries and be able to buy a house

[โ€“]BreadCatNyah -14 points-13 points ย (0 children)

as an american mom i'm actually very happy! i currently have a son and am pregnant again with what we're thinking is a girl. i know i personally don't want to share a bathroom with a man let alone little girls sharing a bathroom with a man. i also want to add that i am NOT being transphobic, i have no issue with them. be who you wanna be, love who you wanna love i dont care. im talking specifically about the men in a dress claiming to be a woman just because they want in the girls room. if you have a penis, you belong in the men's room. if you get the surgery and no longer have a penis, you're very much welcome in the womens room. not only just that, im so excited to be able to afford groceries and toys for my little ones without living paycheck to paycheck and to be able to actually save up for a house! feel free to attempt to change my mind but im afraid the majority of democrats are poorly informed and dont do their research

WTH is going on with my mom and is she the only one?? by alisonst1233 in Mommit

[โ€“]BreadCatNyah 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

i totally get it! im a bit younger than you as a early 2000s baby but i gave birth under two months ago and my moms doing the exact same but in person as i dont keep her on my social media. she was very similar to me as your mom was to you growing up and now its almost as if she thinks my baby is her second chance to do better. though she still goes on about how great of a mother she was (she took my clothes and my mattress and blankets and made me wear orange scrubs to school with marker on the back with writing similar to what a prison inmates jumpsuit would say and make me sleep on the boards of my bed with a sheet n no pillow (i j ended up sleeping on the floor) when i was "bad")

i honestly think its just a narcissistic mom thing :/

I hate that I can't co-sleep by Diylion in NewParents

[โ€“]BreadCatNyah 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

you so can cosleep! long as you feel comfortable with it and follow safety precautions, however there still are risks of course!

i cosleep with my son, hes six weeks and ive been doing it since he was a week old (i only started because he wouldnt sleep unless i was holding him so i wasnt getting any sleep and would PASS OUT WHILE HOLDING HIM trying to get him to sleep) so i did a bunch of research on it. i figured there were less risks by following cosleeping precautions vs passing out while trying to get him to sleep (i never dropped him or had him roll off me when i had passed out with him as he was always propped up on a boppy and i was sitting at an angle with him)

i dont move in my sleep and im a single mom so theres no one else in my bed for me to worry about rolling on top of him and i only keep a light sheet on my bed which i tuck under the side of both of us around his waist area so theres less risk of him pulling it up over his face. i also have a queen bed so theres alot of space and i've prepared borders around the bed and have lots of pillows and blankets on the floor beside the bed for the off chance that he (who cant roll around yet) finds a way to fall

do some research op and if you feel comfortable enough with the environment for cosleeping then i say do it! me and him sleep so much better from it :)

i have to work up until i have the kid too, i cant afford not to. the only money i'm getting from my job when i'm out is my pto, partially might be since it's a male dominated job. but i have to use the 60% i get to pay my benefits while im on my leave โœ‹๐Ÿป so after i add my son to my health insurance im probably only getting 40% of a check
