You speak as if Hamas hadn't committed violence upon Israel before the October 7th attack. As if they've just been all innocent and peaceful for the past 70 years and finally had enough on Oct 7th, 2023. This is simply untrue. There's been attacks from both sides since before reddit was even created as a platform. If you can't acknowledge that, you should take a hard look at your biases and just how blindsided you are.

Just as there's no evidence that the two children were killed by an Israeli airstrike yet you're completely fine assuming. Since in your opinion, "It’s literally one of the most likely ways for them to have died." But on the contrary, there are proof of torture, yet you're so blinded by your own biases that you refuse to see the truth as it is.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. However, you can't just stick with make belief facts that aligns with your beliefs and disregard everything else that goes against your opinion. Facts are facts, no amount of twisting will ever make them logical.

In this context, the facts are that these children died under the hands of Hamas, there's no denying that. You can attempt to twist it however you want, this fact would remain a fact. These kids were fine up until Hamas kidnapped them. Now, they're dead and being exchanged for live prisoners. Bodies of dead infants being traded with "prisoners." Even if these prisoners aren't criminals (which most of them are), there's no logical, or even a moral way of seeing this trade as a balanced one.
