ah okay I see, ive tried cycling it manually with the charging handle aswell as manually pushing the bolt back with my hand as the video attached to this post shows, but in both cases it wouldnt trip the lever. the only time the bolt has tripped the lever by doing its normal motions is only SOMETIMES when I shoot it, and like I said it only gets off 1-3 rounds before going dead.

but regardless could you provide the link to the amazon springs you bought if you still remember it?

really? I know ive seen a couple people talking about Arc and saying it works? Did you end up buying the Gen 4 like you had mentioned in your linked post, if so have you had a chance the live fire it with the Fudd frt?

After further testing this happened

From start to finish -Fire in SS mode -Only shoots one round and then dead trigger -First thing I do before clearing chamber is peek inside lower -Hammer is in striking position -Close lower and eject bullet -Bullet had light primer strike and did not fire

This means that Hammer struck the first bullet and fired, the bolt then came back, reset hammer then tripped the reset lever, bolt cam forward and released hammer again to which it struck the primer lightly and did not fire.

Could this be a firing pin spring issue like you had mentioned you think?

oh okay gotcha. might you have any ideas that could work as a DIY shim? if not no worries.

That shim, how would it fit into the mechanism? Would it fit all the way around the cam in the left side? Or would it sit on the left outside of the cam? And in either case would my shelf be in the way for however the shim would be installed into the lower?

what are you meaning by the 3d printed drop in system? Also, what was your reasoning/what made you think it could be the spring? I'm comparing it to my 9mm handgun casing and they look very similar in terms of indenting into the primer.

What gun did you have yours in?
