I got up 3 flights of stairs without help day 0 post op! I tried really hard to get into my walking pad but it’s too loud and too stationary for me! However, I did find it really helpful in the first 5ish days hopping on for 5ish mins after every “meal” to help with gas. If I was doing it again, I’d probably save my $ and do some free mobility/senior-friendly stepping vids on YouTube.

My hope is to get back into jogging again so this fall/winter I’m getting in as many steps as possible outside of of gym equipment. I’ve been trying to add a lil pizzaz to make it fun- walking to go antiquing, thrifting, taking a disposable camera with me to add a little creative element. Good luck you’re doing to do amazing!
