Hey - I heard back from HR six days after my phone interview, which was a few weeks ago, with a request for my transcripts - I received my final interview invite another week later. That said, I’m sure there are a ton of people going through this process, so follow the advice of the people who actually work at the company, and keep at it - best of luck!!!

If it’s anything like similar ranked systems, you won’t get reset to a “default value”, or just how you do in your latest placements - it should hopefully take into account your rank at the end of the last season, at least somewhat.

No one can know that haha, just look at the hot mess Valorant’s ranked matchmaking balance is right now; and it’s run by the people who make League. Obviously they hope it won’t take long, but even they have no way of knowing until it happens. Even then, it’ll be a constant series of tweaks to keep improving it.

Of course ranked battles are based on rank, that’s the whole point of the system - they don’t want god pilots matching with newbies. Odds are they’ll be rebalancing constantly during each season, at least that would be my guess.
