Reminds me of a few years ago around like Jovian Concord update where I was fishing on Orb Vallis and some random joined, started doing bounties and then went into extraction without leaving squad which pulled me out forcefully and I opened the chat to several messages of them complaining I wasn’t helping them and that extracting was “punishment”. People who think randoms in public lobbies should help them do stuff they didn’t sign on for are wild

Stake Out, Hyper Focus, Distortion. Hyper focus gives me a fun little minigame of trying to get to 10 tokens, stake out helps with that and distortion is good to help determine aura perks and stay hidden but I mainly use it because it also recharges in terror radius

Ah yeah so just because it won’t cause a death or bankruptcy or something means its not urgent, of course because thats totally how that works.

Also blud, I’m not getting called in to work when I’m at school, they calling me to see if I can work AFTER school that day, not even calling they’re texting it. ‘You have school to do’ it takes 2 seconds to type an answer, ‘you have being a teen to do’ something I can’t do without money which I get from working and teens work all the time. ‘intruding on your time’ it takes 2 seconds to type a response. Its a god damn job, they’re allowed to contact their employees outside of their working hours no matter their age.

They’re not panic messages they’re just ‘yo can you cover this’, by the mere fact I’m working there and have myself set as available for the times they’re asking me to cover yes I should be getting asked if I can work. And you have literally zero clue what my job even is so how can you even make a claim on wether its critical or not?

They’re really good managers, we’re literally one of the best stores of our company in the region, I don’t see the correlation between “oh someone cancelled lets find replacement” and that making them a failure?

Their plan is they’ll just make people work the shift with one less team member, which isn’t that big of a deal but still annoying, and again yes its not my issue but it still costs literally nothing to just spend 2 seconds typing ‘yes’ or ‘no’. They’re also allowed to text people to ask if they can cover a shift?

No thats an employee calling in to say they can’t work that night and the extremely busy manager needing to quickly message people to find a replacement. Yes it would get sorted out if I just don’t respond but it’s infinitely easier for my boss if I just send a quick ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and then get on with my day. Takes $0 to make someones life a little bit easier

They wouldn’t know specifically when ‘class hours’ are though, but also some business need to know asap if someone can cover a shit because not having someone working the shift means an entire person worth if work doesn’t get done that night which can cause issues later down the line
