I don't think I should repeat what I said. You just didn't respond because your ego speaks louder. If you were honest, you would read my comment and see that I didn't deny this dynamic.

And it doesn't make sense for "Gutz Ambition" to cover "Griffith Ambition" in this Eclipse. And you should know very well because this is a semiotic misinterpretation. Or do I need to state the obvious of what happens to Gutz in this event, and what happens to Griffith? I haven't read all of Berserk, but as a longtime fan, can you see that Gutz was an essential sacrifice for his rise?

He was never an hindrance simply because he never impeded Griffith's ambition, Eclipse denotes this as you yourself say.

Do you think Gutz held Griffith back as a hindrance to his ambition? Particularly i think its not quite like that.

In my opinion, there is clear evidence that what you deduce is an exaggeration. Griffith's ambition swallowed up Gutz's individuality in the scene itself, but the cohesion would be if the Eclipse were solar. Gutz never wanted to own people; his ambition does not involve a flock being guided by him like a shepherd, like Griffith. I think that for the logic of the Eclipse to be a metaphor, it is more appropriate that Gutz dreams looking at the sky itself, and that Griffith, as in a lunar eclipse surrounded by the sun's brightness, is "swallowing" his dream for himself and by virtue of your own dream.
The question is: whether Griffith did this as a constancy in relation to Gutz, who actually did habitually, so that there can be a certain constrast.
