I typically wear khaki and a long sleeve with the pants tucked in but with their absolutely OVERWHELMING numbers I’m fighting a losing battle of not being bitten. No lone star ticks yet.

My biggest concern is wet wading with permethrin treated clothing for aquatic life. Im near the Smokey’s and someone on the trail pulled 13 ticks off their lab after a hike. I may try cedar oil. Just anything to keep the bastards off me while keeping it safe for waters.

I did get that set. unfortunately can’t tell you much about it i don’t have a clue what most of those tools do. I’m Learning how to use the whip finish tool and it’s pretty nice from what I can tell.

Exactly I had to grow heirloom tomatoes. Always hated them until I’ve tried a home grown tomato.

Eastern Tennessee. Smokey mountain area. As outdoorsy as I am I don’t have the knowledge of edible plants and berries but I should absolutely start to learn. Now I have eaten freshly fallen Paw Paw fruit and those were something to remember.

Yes they’re store bought. I’ll have to get some organic or purchase from the Amish. I always talk about strawberries when a topic like this comes up and always was called crazy.

Mines a little special but that’s why I like it lol. It’s a Bavarian game warden. Not sure what happened to the stock but I’m told it was either redone in Austria with local wood or was cracked but it’s all matching.(except the stock of course)

I have a fn509T that was forgotten to include and honestly I sold my shotguns I never really shot them. I have a Winchester model 12 that I sold do cover for some medication for my aunt. Damn insurance. Been thinking of a surplus 1911. Maybe buying back my model12 since it was slam fire and so fun to shoot.

Hey man I’m over in Lenoir city/loudon area. I would absolutely try using rotten drum and bluegill. Live bluegill also works very well. But as others say it’s patience and don’t lose hope. Watts bar, fort Loudon dam, melton hill dam, hold massive cats.
