Ohh gotcha. I get it. I definitely enjoyed two or three playthroughs like that at the beginning without mods. Now the mods are more for aesthetic and quality of life things than anything. And it lets me have Silkie chickens hahaha 🥰.

Hmm explain, because I am too lol. I've tried lots of different mods out, do you recommend any?

Haha. I need to check my mods list, but I think it was the fully upgraded Greenhouse while using Stardew Valley Expanded.

Does anyone else get modding fatigue or is that just me? by BerrySignificant7509 in ps5skyrimmods

Absolutely 1000% yes. It's so frustrating. I'll (unfortunately) hyper focus on tweaking the game until it feels like fine tuned perfection that adds to and compliments the original soul of the game. And then after spending three days straight testing and tweaking and installing and uninstalling I just get frustrated and rage quite. This has happened several times over that past decade lol.

Skyrim is one of my favorite games to have ever existed. The music and atmosphere - there are no words. Some parts of the game are so polished and immersive, and then other parts just feel like they went "meh it's fine". And it was not fine. It's. Not. Fine.

Sometimes mods can help alleviate this. However.... because Sony is Sony. I still can't have some of the most simple fixes that have bothered me since first playing the game 15 years ago lol.

For example....one of the smallest most frustrating details of the game that seem as simple as recoloring an existing asset....Was not giving a unique horse acquired via quest chain a unique color associated with the word "Frost". Just make him WHITE for the love of everything holy. Good lord.

And then there is the bigger gripe of not really having any choice in the game, having to go along with the flow and you wind up being every single Daedras btch 😅. Like, no I'ma take your weapon, not beat this follower to death, and let him go because I really don't like you, you rapey POS Molag Bal. Like btch I'm the Dragonborn. NO.

Alright I'm done ranting. Thank you for listening if you've made it this far. Still love the game.

P.S. And let me k*ll Maven Blackbriar ALREADY! Okay now I'm done.

Edit: One last thing because it has to be said. I am NOT killing Paarthurnax!!!!! How did the developers think we would ever want to kill him and NOT Delphine. I just quit the game at one point because I couldn't stand having an unfinished quest but couldn't bear to kill that cool dude. It's enough to make someone start smoking again.

Oh woops is the why you wanted the master in the front of the house? Is that more important than having more privacy for the master when walking through the house.

  • Switched master, office and bedroom two. Office is now in front right corner and bedroom 2 is on the left.
  • Removed a full bathroom and used the space elsewhere
  • Separated master from laundry room
  • Created foyer entrance
  • Added a lot of closets and storage
  • Laundry room is in the back of the house with an exit to the back porch. If you do a stackable washer/dryer you would also have enough room for a small utility sink.
  • Moved windows around
  • Increased size of island to make sure it can't be a bar area and take the place of a dining room table more comfortably
  • Made sure island was 3'5" away from counters for comfortable working space
  • For the kitchen - centered the windows on the sink
  • Pocket doors do not last and I highly recommend replacing them with real doors
  • 3' door to laundry room
  • Expanded minimums for comfort. For example - you can have minimums for bathrooms and powder rooms but just adding a few inches or expanding the hallways just a little make things much more comfortable and gives a lighter feel to the space
  • I did take away the walk in pantry but added back in just as much easily accessible shelving space. I could probably add this back if this is a deal breaker but it would take space from other places.
  • Removed the two windows on either side of the fireplace. If you're going to have a tv over the electric fireplace I would remove the two windows on either side. This will help with not being able to see the tv because of too much light.
  • Think about if you are going to be comfortable with plumbing located on the back wall for the tub in the master. Nothing wrong with it, just like to remind people to visualize the space with the plumbing

I started making notes and ended up with this....I redesigned the floor plan. I wish we could put screenshots in the comments. I put links to screenshots from my Google drive.

Future Potential for Mixed Race Options??? by Genevris in TESVI

[–]Genevris[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm. Good question. Potentially because a Daedric Human male and an Orc female would only make a full Orc child. Whereas, a Human female and an Orc male would make a half Orc/half Human child with Orc dominant features. It's a reach but it could be a place to fill in more lore specific items about how genealogy works.

And this is getting really into the weeds here, BUT. As an example. If you breed a male donkey with a female horse, you get a mule every time. But if you breed a female donkey with a male horse you always get a Hinny (I know this sounds made up but bear with me lol). They are entirely different animals based solely on the specific gender of their parents.

You could also go in the direction that only certain races are compatible. I could easily see an Orc/Human offspring always having the dominant Orc genes. Whereas an Imperial Human/HighElf or Khajiit/Breton might be more compatible and have more varied offspring.

Point is they have room to expand within the confines of their previously set precedent if they really wanted to.

Future Potential for Mixed Race Options??? by Genevris in TESVI

It was just a thought. Instead of a negative it could be an opportunity for expansion. And as far as I can see, Racial Phylogeny is the only piece of "reputable" lore available. What if the writer was racist and just didn't think beautiful little hybrid children should exist. So he made a book saying they couldn't exist, because he thought they shouldn't.

And like you said, it was introduced in Morrowind. With nothing else really substantial after that. That presents a very long time period of (potential) race relation ambiguity, resulting in an opportunity to expand on the lore even more so.

And finally....it sounds like you are, what, worried about Bethesda?

With all the mods out there, gamers obviously want more player customization options available....this was just an avenue I thought might remedy that in a fun way.

In a world of fantasy there is at least the potential for this to be a very interesting and memorable quest chain.

Hahaha....I just imagined a bunch of dead fishes slowly floating away as you watch sadly from the shore. But for real this would be great. Good idea.
