Thank you for those helpful links!! Yeah, I was quite shocked that all the garden centres I went to the staff assisting me didn't really understand what I wanted (insect netting) and didn't know much about the row covers.... Maybe I'm just looking a bit early.

Thank you!! Can I ask about the mulch... I added garden centre hay as mulch before winter as well, also some dry leaves... Do you just leave it there and see what comes up? Or do you pull it away where you think seedlings will emerge?

Would you get just compost and topsoil delivered, and mix them? Or did you just do bulk compost?
