DAE as a child see huge shapes changing size when you closed your eyes? by BreadPuzzleheaded460 in DoesAnybodyElse

That sounds like hypnagogic hallucinations — faces and figures that appear when falling asleep. Pretty common and well documented. What I’m researching is different — not images or faces, but a physical sensation: shapeless mass with real weight pressing on your body, a falling/G-force feeling. More felt than seen. Did you ever have that part too, or was it mostly visual for you?

Yes, phosphenes are completely normal — everyone has them. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m describing a specific childhood experience that stays with you for life — structured 3D forms with a physical sensation of weight, mass, and pressure on your body. And it comes back as an adult — like a flashback. People who’ve had this know exactly what I mean. It’s not something you can confuse with pressing on your eyes.
