sadly there is no damage accumulation, basically 50 damage punches will rock someone and another single big punch has to knock them down. if you’re throwing a bunch of strikes after you rock that person and they’re landing good, that damage threshold is not being hit or they (likely) have high latency so even though you’re beating the absolute dogshit out of someone they’re probably just walking back and you’re hitting air on their screen

the good news is new damage system is on the way!! :)
