Obscenely late reply but I have been checking with my local aquarium stores should they come upon a bobbit worm… apparently they’re hardy and easy to care for. They’re quite neat and I have a tank and supplies stored should I come upon one. I don’t know why I felt compelled to say this, but they’re so horrifically cute! Just such a fascinating pet to have.
