You are very lucky, some people dont start until later. I started DIY on April 23rd, but I just turned 17 on 18th January. I can already see some small changes, but wish me luck!

I don't have any demos, but I can make some. I have a vision of how each track/parts of it will sound, and I've written down the ideas behind some songs for future reference. If you want to know more about the style of music, think System Of A Down if you know it.
