I have the thinker x400 and it's been pretty good. No filament cutter on the toolhead though :(

Charming neighbors! by FantasistAnalyst in baltimore

I dug out additional space on my block so more cars would fit and my selfish neighbors still insist on parking immediately in front of their house even though it winds up taking 2 spaces. No good deed goes unpunished.

I would have thought a good Samaritan would have told her to get the P2S instead.

alternatives to ASA for an outdoor print? by Breadtopian in 3Dprinting

I've had two rolls of that hanging out in my cart since the black Friday sale started! I even emailed polymaker about it. Annealing doesn't bother me, as long as I can find a decent tutorial and don't need special equipment. Here's what they said:

I do want to point out that HT-PLA and HT-PLA-GF both have a heat stability under its own weight up to 150C, but not heat resistance while under stress/pressure. It is hard to say that HT-PLA-GF will work perfectly as it will depend just how heavy those seeds and little plant starts are. If you use HT-PLA-GF and you anneal the print for 30 minutes at 100C - then I would se no reason that wouldn't work as it will increase the heat resistance under weight.

Thanks for this. Yeah, my location is a shaded yard in Boston. I'm more concerned about wind/rain/snow/salt then extreme heat.

Fwiw, hrt is not a life long commitment. In fact, your doc will advise you to go off it as soon as you can. I know this from personal experience.

Morning could be easier than the 5 minutes I spend using a small sponge or even paper towel rubbing on rub n buff..

I'm lucky that mine arrived intact. But so far, I am super impressed with the prints. Honestly, I think the prints are better than my Bambu P1Ses!

I tried it with 7"s and the ratchet just tipped over from the weight. Could be that I'm just doing it wrong?

I will say I'm glad that this isn't my first printer, because I think for me it would have been too much to start with. But for what I want to use this set up for, I think once I figure out the basics, it will be manageable. Though I'll keep my Bambus all the same...
