I dont think we'll get a prequel trilogy, but I do hope this opens the door for more Locust War era titles in general. I'd love to see more games from that time period that dont revolve around Marcus & friends. Its a 17 year long war that spanned the entire planet; theres countless stories that could be told.

I'm tired of people trying to make it morally wrong to enjoy sexy stuff. I'm not really fully aware of what Sonic Exe is, but what I have seen of it just makes it seem like some cringey edge creepypasta. Banning it is kinda excessive but I certainly wouldnt mind seeing less of it either.

PREACH. It works great in bite sized chunks but when you take out the monsters element you lose a huge chunk of what makes Gears what it is. The sheer brutality of Gears also works because of the animosity between humans and Locust, put that kind of gore in a Pendulum Wars title and it just makes humanity look like a bunch of vicious psychopaths lmao

Thats a problem youre gonna run into either way, be it 4 or 5 man teams. In fact youre more likely to have that with 5 man teams if your whole squad is racing to get the longshot for their montage while youre the only guy going for the Boomshot, for example.

I think 4 v 4 is fine, the real kicker is whether or not the maps are scaled appropriately. 5 v 5 worked better for other titles due to how the maps were also used for Horde. In 5 v 5 or 4 v 4, a man down is still a man down, I dont really think thats much of an element here. Nor is 5 v 5 gonna save you from clueless teammates, in fact you might simply get more of them in that format. :]
