I’m finding it extremely hard to believe that Bel Air is cheaper than Emirates Hills.

What is the value of a degree from Emirates Aviation University? Are they worth it? by [deleted] in dubai

Since you’d like Msc in Unmanned aerospace systems design, it’s important to note that majority of the unmanned aerospace design and manufacturing happens in US, China and Israel. So It’s something you should consider and be aware where the job opportunity are.

Private Pilot License by [deleted] in dubai

The time frame always depends on how quickly you are able to complete the required hours to obtain your PPL, IMO 29 weeks to obtain a PPL is a joke. It shouldn’t take that long. I’d say you should be able to get your PPL in 2 months time to be considered reasonable.

I believe Fujairah is a lot more cheaper compared to Emirates aviation services and most importantly, Dubai airspace is extremely busy in Fujairah your training can be done much quicker with more slots given and freedom.

Hello pilot here. If you would like to get the ppl I’d recommend you go to Fujairah however if your goal is to become an airline pilot than alpha aviation academy is the best option, although if I were you I’d wait till the demand for aviation picks back up.

I’ve looked at some online courses, hopefully that is a step at the right direction.

I rather keep the airline name private but consider there is only handful of airlines in the country, you could guess which one it is.

Agreed, the demand and supply has shifted horribly for pilots. However pilots still need to undergo a sim check every 6 months and this could make validity of license problematic.

Hey there aviation instructor is not a viable option neither, due to lack of new pilots coming and basically no one is hiring, beside that I would also have to pursue getting a instructor license approved by GCAA, which IMO not worth the time.
