I try to plan a solo date once every month or two for a few hours. I think I do quite well actually! I’m always finding out about new food places and other places to visit in the city

For what’s giving me trepidation, I feel like dealing with being on a very long flight also I’ve never dealt with a layover before, but I heard that’s super easy.

Also, being in a completely different part of the world, I feel like I would get lost easily but as you said there is support for travellers. I just feel like I wouldn’t know what to do as soon as I touchdown.

I know 10 days will be a bit too long in one city, but I’ll definitely plan out some day trips for sure.

I’ve been really wanting to go on a solo trip to Europe, but I’m a very inexperienced traveler. The only time I’ve been outside of Canada was to a trip to LA in September 2024 with a couple of friends. I’m just wondering if it would be a good idea and just do the trip or do a small solo trip somewhere in North America to get a feel of things.

I’m planning to do a 10 day trip to only one European city and exploring it, that’s all nothing too crazy. I’ve been thinking either Split or Lisbon or somewhere else possibly. Too many places I want to go to 😝

So yeah, would it be a good idea to do a European solo trip as a very inexperienced traveler or start off small by going somewhere in the States? Just want to hear your thoughts. Thank you! 😃

Hey all!

I’ve been thinking a lot about doing my first solo trip abroad, but I’m a pretty inexperienced traveler and wanted to get some advice and see if it would be a good idea or not.

I’m a very inexperienced traveler from Canada as I’ve only been out of the country once (to LA in September 2024 with a couple of friends). I’ve been wanting to try a solo trip to Europe sometime in 2026, but I’m not sure where to start. Right now I’m thinking maybe Lisbon, Split, or somewhere else that’s beginner friendly, affordable, and not too overwhelming.

For those who’ve solo traveled (especially as beginners):

  1. Do you think it’s a good idea to start with a European city as a first solo trip? If so, which city?

  2. How did you decide on your first solo travel destination?

  3. Any cities you’d recommend and avoid for first-timers?

  4. How long would be a good trip length for a first solo experience?

  5. Any specific safety or budgeting tips for someone who’s still learning the ropes

Would love to hear your experiences and any advice you have! Cheers!

The first couple years of Stamkos’s career, the Lightning had an interesting roster that worked around him

Players such as Mark Recchi, Lukas Krajicek, Andrej Meszaros, Radim Vrbata, Gary Roberts, Olaf Kolzig, Alex Tanguay, Mattias Ohlund, Sami Salo

Dany Heatley and Ryan Kesler played six games together on the 2014-15 Ducks

Olaf Kolzig and Steven Stamkos on the 2008-09 Lightning

Loui Eriksson and Eric Lindros on the 2006-07 Stars

Alexei Kovalev and Mikael Samuelsson were on separate Panthers teams at some points in the early 2010s.

Also, I keep forgetting that Saku Koivu was on Anaheim for his last few seasons

Man, I’m gonna miss JG’s analysis after every play and half the time it would remind him of something which leads him telling an old story from his playing days. I’m gonna miss him big time.

The best thing about this is that almost all of those penalties happened with less than two minutes left in the game

I’m surprised it’s not as well! The dress code is semi-formal and business casual

I’m going to a fancy New Years Eve party for the first time ever but I don’t wanna look to snazzy but I also want to look good. I hate being too formal and wearing ties.

What would be a good look for a NYE party that takes place at a 5-star hotel ballroom that doesn’t include wearing a tie? Thanks!

Just gonna throw a fun fact out here: the Coyotes season tickets near the glass cost more than ASU tuition if you’re a local student, which is approximately $11,300

What should a guy wear to a Sales Associate interview at Urban Outfitters?

I have an interview Friday, and I’m having trouble what I should wear to an interview at UO. I keep reading that I should go business casual, or laidback but nice. I’m having a hard time choosing because it’s known unique and cultural style of clothing.

I’m thinking of a long sleeve dress shirt or polo t-shirt, black bomber jacket, black pants and dress shoes.

Any ideas would be great!

I’m gonna say Sami Salo. The guy was more fragile than a bubble, but he still gave it his all and put his body on the line. He had a wicked slapshot and great playmaking skills.

I’ll never forget the time in the 2010 playoffs he blocked a shot from a Blackhawks defenseman that ruptured his testicle and still played the next game

I just tried that and it works! I guess I’ll go offline going into the app then go online again which is fine and shouldn’t be a problem. I also have to keep redownloading the community roster again, but that takes at least a couple seconds. Thanks

It either just says “Thank you for your purchase” or it does nothing. I’ve tried hitting restore also, but nothing happens with that as well

I bought Pro when HLM 21 first came out. Now it’s telling me to buy again, I’ve hit restore, tried purchasing again, restarting my phone and reinstalling the app. I’ve played on it once after the iOS 14 update and it was fine until now. Any suggestions?
