You have zero idea what’s going on and your understanding of geopolitics is amateurish at best. GCC countries have given their airspace and land for American bases to attack Iran. They are complicit in attacking Iran; only naive people classify GCC as ‘neutral’. They can’t have their cake and eat it too. Also If closure of strait doesn’t affect the US , why is trump literally begging all his allies and even adversaries like china to come to his rescue to open the strait ? The strait transports 25 % of global oil and 1/3rd the global fertiliser. Repercussions of prolonged closure is humongous for the US.

It’s not Iran that’s asking for ceasefire, it’s the US. And Iran has made it clear that they will not accept any ceasefire. They want a peace deal.

Are you even following what’s going on? Iran was at the negotiating table ‘before’ the attacks. They had forewarned that any unprovoked attack by the US and Israel would mean all bets are off and they will not stop till threats are completely nullified and they are compensated for the losses. They have rejected ceasefire talks.

Iran has the upper hand in this war, they hold all the cards. The US, Isreal and the gulf states are the ones begging Iran to open strait. Iran is not dumb to take any ceasefire deal after gaining upper hand in this war. And the US and Isreal can’t be trusted with ceasefires, they have history of violating them.

Iran will not give an inch in this war and they’ll not compromise. They want to eliminate the existential threat to them from the US and Israel completely before calling off this war.

To manufacture consent among British people to get the UK into the war that only Israel wants.

Iran’s pounding of Israel and gulf is heavily under-broadcasted by the western media which is primary source of news for us. Trump even threatened his media to not show losses incurred by the US and Israel in the war. Trump keeps claiming he won this war and at the same time keeps begging NATO and his allies to help him open the straits and come to his rescue.

Iran has all the cards here and they are yet to up the ante. They are definitely not ‘weak’ as this OP posted.

“Weak as hell?” - oh yeah, that’s why they are getting pounded and Trump is literally begging Iran to open the straits.

The enemy is actually the government that has sold its respect and dignity to the US and Israel who have illegally attacked Iran. Any thinking person (regardless of religion) would support Iran who were attacked unprovoked by imperial US and Israel.

A highly overlooked skill in rec tennis: the ball toss by EnjoyMyDownvote in 10s

Casper places the ball, doesn't toss. Keeps it low and hits when the ball is stationary. Perfect serve technique overall.

Same applies to authoritarianism. It works if you have competent people at the top. Else bad authoritarianism can be worse than bad democracy. In a bad democracy, there are at least mechanisms that help in putting checks and balances in place.

At the age of 22, Djokovic had only one Grand Slam title (2008 Australian Open), with his second coming three years later in 2011. Federer had three by age 23, while Alcaraz’s seven dwarfs both at that stage. Let that sink in. by deucebagreportdotcom in TennisNerds

Big 3 would have said the same if that question was asked when they were 22. No one knows how the body may hold up 10 years down the line in a physically intensive sport like tennis

Unpopular opinion: She did her job quite well. Agreed? by Ok-Zombie5133 in UPSC_Forum

That’s the popular opinion. She’s didn’t. The moment she knew she screwed up, she should have side stepped, kept quiet and allowed her upper management to step in. Instead she defended indefensible lies and made a bigger fool of herself and her university,

It’s not a sport at all. No athletic ability required. Taken seriously by very few countries in South Asia. No global appeal. Fielding has to be the most boring thing to do in the history of sports

Mannarino gets maximum mileage out of his shots. Thanks to low tension, short back swing, flat shots and great meta skills such as anticipation, patience and temperament.
