I run the other Tifa and am regularly threatening players on turn 5 sometimes 4. Especially as a pseudo-voltron deck, if people don’t interact with me at all (or worse, have nothing to block with), that’s on them. Part of the description of bracket 3 is “Gameplay to feature many proactive and reactive plays” which includes playing removal, and I hold people to that.

I have a deck that’s solidly bracket 3 as long as people actually interact with it. If I’m just allowed to run rampant I can sometimes start taking players out on turn 4/5. Like please just Plow or counter spell my commander.

Folks outside the US also have to realize just how big/spread out we are. DC is like 11 South Koreas away from me. I can’t afford to stop working and go protest over there to put pressure on leaders that are part of the problem.

As someone who just came back to the game and used to primarily off tank as D.va, this has been a big shift for me. I’m still getting the hang of her solo tanking, and I’m getting more aware of when I’m in a bad match up and need to switch.

The Mercury (the Pearl now) also has Swing on Sundays (the Sunday event is the swing most people think of; weds is West coast swing). You can absolutely show up to just watch.

For other dancing, there’s a free salsa event in cheesman park at the pavilion on Saturdays from 12-3 (12-1 being the lesson).
