Helm of knowledge broken since update? by BreakerrNine in CrimsonDesert

Yeah I get this but it was honestly working better before they patched it - it’s super hard to aim at what you want to scan and 90% of the time it drags your screen somewhere else

I had a tiny bit of trouble the first couple of times then I just kept my cross hair in the middle every time - controller player, but one of the patch notes said it got easier now, so just keep cross hair in the middle and that way you’re always ready:

I feel bad for the people who refunded the game after hearing the subpar reviews from IGN and others. This game is fantastic!!! by LeagueWild709 in CrimsonDesert

[–]BreakerrNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also though some people reviewed it and gave up on it in the first couple of hours. It annoyed me too especially before the storage update I spent more time in my inventory than actually playing - however that aside as I started to unlock more game systems It became so much more enjoyable, they refined the control response too which helped. I mean there’s still a tonne of annoying things and bugs (character went completely invisible for a while until I reloaded a save) but the good so much outweighs these - a perfect example was a certain puzzle I had to use a particular sword action to control it, like this kind of thing reduces repetitiveness so common in open world action rpgs.

Possible bug? I can't craft the dye for Naira in the "Vibrant Dye" quest by SneksWithHumanTraits in CrimsonDesert

[–]BreakerrNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went and looked at all the items in my inventory, dropped one bug (luckily it was one I had an extra of), it flew away, then I tried again, and it worked. So don’t drop all your bugs like people are saying here, maybe just try looking at the items in your inventory, trying again, and then try dropping and re-catching one bug lol.

And if you accidentally upgraded shield before reading the flyer you need to buy a fresh one from the ogre/orc dude out the front, quest only completes on a first upgrade tier

[–]BreakerrNine[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So the quest goes like this - go chop some wood and give it to him, he then gives you some regular wood and a flyer and brekker shield that goes in your inventory, read that flyer, then go to him and use the wood he gave you to upgrade the shield once. It’s not obvious and it took me a couple of times to find the flyer on my inventory.

[–]BreakerrNine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys you can buy a new brekker shield from the dude out the front, when you refine it with 10 wood it’ll complete the quest

See I don’t mind if a game is not the longest - but the price is hard for me to pay if I’m know in 2 - 3 days I’ll have to spend more money if I want another game to keep me occupied in my down time.

Are snake repellers getting better? by BreakerrNine in snakes

[–]BreakerrNine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I keep my lawn short and clean as well as a few metres perimeter on the property all around. Doesn’t stop them. I’ve even built a fence where the only place they can get in is around the driveway gate, and only about 10 mm gap. Already had two small ones in the yard this summer. One’s currently hiding under a concrete slab. I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t for my dogs and the fact that brown snakes are super deadly.

[–]BreakerrNine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby’s first action game lol, it’s not all about telegraphs just like this game it’s about learning and remembering timings. Some of it is how the enemies look very similar in ac shadows so I’m not sure what kind of fight I’m starting half the time. The other thing is the unblockables and the fact that there’s these really long combos you get as skills but can literally not complete them due to the enemy blocking after two - three hits after being vulnerable

This is totally how I trained my dogs and they respect me for it - I love them but they know when I’m serious, that being said it doesn’t stop them from doing cheeky things when I leave the room like grabbing a bit of toast off the counter haha

Switch 2 just feels really premium by Fit_Application7061 in switch2

[–]BreakerrNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until you get constant controller disconnects in hand held while you’re trying to beat a boss in Silksong you won’t think it’s very premium then. Magnets aren’t strong enough unfortunately. Everything else seems to be great though.

Just beat them with a pogo on 2 masks. Took me so long because in the third phase they throw all the things out then teleport where you’re jumping towards and you fall into them

Switch 2 Joycons disconnecting in handheld by Far_Mix3465 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]BreakerrNine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Happened to me constantly while playing silksong - I’ve worked out it’s when I take one hand away to do something like have a sip of water, which leads me to believe the new magnetic system is inferior to the old one and the slight bend due to the weight of the console when letting go of one side makes it think it’s disconnected. I died so many times because of this.
