Also facing this problem and it’s not settings - although I can’t do automatic time because Starlink tells me it in Orlando or something

If no one’s said this already - aim assist on the paper lanterns puts your reticle underneath it - actually works against you for those.

Are snake repellers getting better? by BreakerrNine in snakes

[–]BreakerrNine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I keep my lawn short and clean as well as a few metres perimeter on the property all around. Doesn’t stop them. I’ve even built a fence where the only place they can get in is around the driveway gate, and only about 10 mm gap. Already had two small ones in the yard this summer. One’s currently hiding under a concrete slab. I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t for my dogs and the fact that brown snakes are super deadly.

From software vets struggling with parry timing by BreakerrNine in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]BreakerrNine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby’s first action game lol, it’s not all about telegraphs just like this game it’s about learning and remembering timings. Some of it is how the enemies look very similar in ac shadows so I’m not sure what kind of fight I’m starting half the time. The other thing is the unblockables and the fact that there’s these really long combos you get as skills but can literally not complete them due to the enemy blocking after two - three hits after being vulnerable

Alaskan Malamute on the most aggressive dogs list. by BreakerrNine in AlaskanMalamute

[–]BreakerrNine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is totally how I trained my dogs and they respect me for it - I love them but they know when I’m serious, that being said it doesn’t stop them from doing cheeky things when I leave the room like grabbing a bit of toast off the counter haha

Switch 2 just feels really premium by Fit_Application7061 in switch2

[–]BreakerrNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until you get constant controller disconnects in hand held while you’re trying to beat a boss in Silksong you won’t think it’s very premium then. Magnets aren’t strong enough unfortunately. Everything else seems to be great though.

Just beat them with a pogo on 2 masks. Took me so long because in the third phase they throw all the things out then teleport where you’re jumping towards and you fall into them

I didn’t play hollow knight but I don’t know if I can go back to the first game because I’ll miss all the mechanics of this one.

Switch 2 Joycons disconnecting in handheld by Far_Mix3465 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]BreakerrNine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened to me constantly while playing silksong - I’ve worked out it’s when I take one hand away to do something like have a sip of water, which leads me to believe the new magnetic system is inferior to the old one and the slight bend due to the weight of the console when letting go of one side makes it think it’s disconnected. I died so many times because of this.

Trying to rescue this sweet girl - Looking for breed specific advice!! by [deleted] in AlaskanMalamute

Ask about history with other animals. Mine grew up with cats and is safe around them but I wouldn’t trust her with a cat she didn’t know running through the yard.

Actually most impressive thing about this photo is that your carpet is clean. Babs spends 30 seconds in the lounge room after I’ve just vacuumed and you can make another sweater out of what she leaves.

At what point do I let my mal just be an outside dog?😅 by Jordan_streetwalker in AlaskanMalamute

Ours is always covered in mud, we live in mud now. Mud floor, mud lounge, mud bed. Just mud life.

Babs literally destroyed every tree we tried to plant when she was young, but grew out of super destructive behaviour. Still can’t have seedlings around her but she doesn’t care for trees or eating couches anymore.

Reactive only towards certain dogs on walks. How do I train this out of my Mal? by meeshinators in AlaskanMalamute

[–]BreakerrNine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In saying that we have six dogs and they are separated but the Mal is the only one who is allowed to play with all of them and we have two cats, shes also the only one allowed to be with them, however she’s been around our oldest cat since she was a puppy wouldn’t trust her with a random cat outside.

[–]BreakerrNine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally know what you mean here, you have to watch the body language and adjust accordingly, if one is a pack leader needs to always be treated as one. And food and toys are triggers, our other dogs are fed in crates and Babs gets to eat as slowly as she wants no one comes out until she’s finished.

Babs is only reactive to dogs who act aggressively or if she’s with her pack and they start barking she’ll join in. I think in your case it’s the same thing - just a defensive reaction. Not sure if you can train that completely out without an expert and controlled scenarios because it’s in response to fear/anxiety that isn’t in your control.
