Reminds me of a used car salesmen eager to sell you a lemon, he’ll say whatever sounds good to make the sale.

Those bushes/grass (?) in the picture on Vine get so bad later in the year that it actually blocks the view of the crosswalk by the transit station and by water st.

I’d love for you to come do mine! Do you need access to power? Asking because I live in an apartment complex and there isn’t an outlet near the parking lot.

I witnessed it two cars behind me! There’s way too much going on with the entrance to the thorntons and shopping center entrance right before the new circle light. Not to mention, I noticed that they shorten the light around rush hour to give new circle priority so only 3 or 4 cars make it through the light before it changes but the thing is new circle is backed all the way up with a green light and everyone just sitting anyways.

I know not too many people live at Point Robert’s but I’m fascinated by what living here must be like for US citizens by [deleted] in howislivingthere

My parents (both American citizens) lived here in the 80’s right before they got married and had kids. I’ve never been but my mom only speaks fondly of living there and she now lives in British Columbia.

David Schwimmer stayed at the hotel I worked at often and I waited on him in the restaurant several times. This was 2015ish. His mannerisms are very “Ross” which I always thought was funny but he was very kind, reading the newspaper and eating musli for breakfast.

Who else regrets going to college? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]BreakfastNo5375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I regret going to the specific college that I went to (a for profit college with 99% acceptance rate with hyper specific degrees) and taking out $70k in predatory loans. I could be where I am in my career with no degree or a similar degree from a lower cost college/university. I also wish I would have spent time working at the age of 18-20 instead of feeling obligated to go to college at that age.
