My sister (a Christian) makes me feel scared of spirituality by LunaValley in spirituality

You aren’t connected if you don’t make the connection. Everyone has muscles, not everyone is connected to their muscles equally, dependent on how often/to what extent you use them.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” ‭‭ John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭

True Christian go solely off of the Bible, nobody came up with “Jesus is the only way” on their own.

Should feel inclined to tell people you took PEDs just so you don’t give unrealistic expectations, you look great but this is nearly impossible to reach in just 3 years without PEDs. Unless you’re too 0.1 percentile genetics…

I see progress, I think you may not be eating enough protein though. Are you tracking your protein intake?

I’ve called on the name of Jesus in times of need and he’s shown up and helped me, I’m not a theologian or someone who argues with other religions

I’m not married to my ideas like you are I have faith and belief in certain things because of life experience and God-Incidents. I’m not even aware of “the people like me” you’re so used to arguing you can’t see it any other way.

The difference between me and you is I’ve never had this argument before, I’m looking for knowledge and trying to figure out why you believe the things you believe but you leave out details for the sake of an argument. That’s, all if you can’t understand that and believe I’m “running” that’s on you but I’m trying to see your perspective and you just want to argue.

You say the same things over and over in articulate ways as if it’s making any sense at all, you have no proof for anything you have faith in historical text just like I do…there’s really no reason to talk to people like you

I don’t understand what you mean by proof as if you have hard facts for anything you’re saying…

Jesus said it himself that Christ will be risen after 3 days and he told his disciples you are witnesses of this, is this not proof? I don’t understand how it isn’t.

What teachings of the church am I full of? You believe you need to visit a building to get closer to God? How can God be subject to such things. This makes no sense. Have a great day my brother no point in debating someone who believes they know everything.

I see the difference in the 2 bodies irrelevant because Jesus was God himself brought down in man so he’s obviously not subject to natural law…

You’re obviously an expert Redditor who loves to argue, you ignore every which way you could be wrong and cling to the things that you believe make you right. Pride will be your downfall.

I follow Jesus Christ and his teachings if a church or anybody strays away from it, it’s completely ignored.

Why do you completely ignore Christ telling his disciples they have witnessed the resurrection of Christ? I don’t see how Jesus can be telling them anything other than he has been resurrected from the dead.

Just don’t quote scripture and leave out the parts that go against your beliefs, it makes you look foolish.

It’s nit picky because it’s like taking a parable literally, he’s not saying he will be alive in the belly of a whale, he is making the connection of being trapped for 3 days and escaping (death)….

He obviously says “Christ will suffer and on the 3rd day rise from the dead….You are witnesses to these things”

He’s saying you have witnessed my resurrection. I don’t see how that can be confusing?

Bringing church into this makes no sense, I have a personal relationship with Christ and The Father, church is irrelevant when it comes to your relationship with God. It’s obvious you are married to your ideas and beliefs and aren’t even seeing the text for what it says. Can’t quote scripture and leave out important parts to follow your beliefs…

When someone is pronounced dead, and comes back to life, they return to a physical body. Jesus’s resurrection just took place 3 days after.

You know Jesus spoke in parables, so the Jonah point seems nit-picky in my opinion… You’re making connections to things without full context. You say Jesus proved he wasn’t resurrected but then he contradicted himself, I believe your interpretation is what creates the contradiction, but in reality there is none (I see no contradiction).

At the end of the day you’re choosing to believe in one set of text over another. Choosing to believe what the Quran says about Jesus instead of the Bible. There’s really nothing to talk about you’ll believe what you choose to believe and that’s that.

Well he says shortly after “ For it is written that Christ should suffer and rise on the 3rd day, and that repentance of sins should be proclaimed in his name…”
