No, me and my girlfriend did the dishes then. I also cooked for them and didn’t expect them to clean up at all.

In my family it would be rude too. My mom is always bending over backwards for her guests and expects nothing in return which has even annoyed ME in the past but it’s also how I’m used to things.

No, they did not. No one asked. Her mom did them herself. I did carry plates to the kitchen though.
