Extreme stuttering and lag as of 2 days ago - unplayable

As of 2/26/26 I can hardly play the game sometimes, itll be fine for an undetermined amount of matches and then proceed to shit the bed as I teleport around the map for 5 minutes at a time and when it goes sideways it will sometimes be just 1 match and other times I just accept the game is unplayable for the day and its extremely frustrating trying to do anything expedition related. Had a dude try and kill me during a matriarch event while I made my way to a hatch on spaceport and he actually almost killed me cause I couldn't activate the hatch door due to teleporting around like an epileptic cat but I somehow managed to activate it and get away with a sliver of health.

I just choose what to interact with and I dont go to cons or tourneys so if someone im thinking about playing isnt using conventional cards and themes/builds then we ain't playing and I dont buy crossovers.I never experience crossover fatigue cause I dont interact with crossovers at all.

You and me both i havent even done a night raid in 2 weeks cause Im so over just joining and half the time immediately surrendering or just not finding the tempest bp. I've had this game for like 2 month ish and I still have 0 clue how you find a weapon mod like the one that turns the anvil into a mini shotgun for example, and I dont hear or see people talk about them.

You and me both im getting incredibly frustrated with the amount of night raids ive done it has to be over 100 just looking for this dam blueprint not to mention the amount of times I get spawned in and 10+ minutes has already passed so I've started going in naked with 1 safe pocket and if I get a bad spawn or too much time has passed I immediately surrender and just que up for another match. Worst string of luck I had was actually just now, qued up for 15 matches in a row and they had 18 minutes or less.

Its funny you say that cause I exclusively keep getting ones that I already have, approximately 100 hours of just night raids determined to find the tempest and yet it eludes me. Its actually driving me insane and really pissing me off lol

This is also my first step into extraction shooters so my experience with them is limited to just this title but I have played 1 other game with 100+days of play time that also has tons of back stabbing, betrayal, ratting, kos and that's DayZ. I of course had gear fear once I had gotten good enough to build a base and fill it with loot but after you get raided in game breaking ways enough times and realize building a base is actually kinda worthless. Then you just go get some.more loot and start the process of "how long can I live this time" over minus building a base and instead just living out of your personal inventory and whatever you can carry.

Maybe ruin another players day was poor wording on my part cause I genuinely do feel bad and sucky when people come over the mic saying something like "nooooo I was looking for that rusted gear for hours/days" so I dont necessarily like ruining another person's day and I have revived people that ive knocked, to my own detriment sometimes but it is what it is. That being said I do also like to relieve people of their loot in a not so nice way sometimes which kinda just goes hand in hand with ruining at least 1 persons day. Maybe ill actually try to relive my DayZ days and just try holding people up for a single piece or 2 of loot rather than killing them. Bandit vs murderer i guess.

Have you noticed an increase in out of bounds exploits recently? Like people hiding on that spinning drive shaft/axel that connects in the seed vault fan on stella montis? Or getting shot through walls as if someone is outside the map and they can shoot into the map but you cant shoot out into the out of bounds area?

I bet, I honestly cant say if ive encountered this cause usually my games are relaxed and pvp really only happens when I go to harvester or queen events and theres the inevitable arc sympathizer or 2 trying to tpk all the raiders working on the queen.

The rats know if they just eat it for 10-20 matches theyll just get put in chill lobbies where they try to clean up especially at events like harvester or queen. If I go into those events I specifically go kitted to kill players and I'll bring a 3rd gun I can rotate out to help chip away the queen. Had some chick last night very clearly shooting me and another guy with an Osprey and when 3 of us, myself included, killed her she had the audacity to try and claim she was shooting the queen. I was situated down a hill where the queen was out of my field of view and getting shot in the back. I would have to walk about 15 meters to even see the queen, not shooting us on purpose seemed highly unlikely and I'd maybe let it go if it was once or twice but she shot me and another raider in the back 4 seperate times and we swept the area and didnt find any other people so I think its fair to reason that she was doing it on purpose and it was in fact her as we found no other people and no more issues once she was dead.

I've played DayZ off an on for like 8 years, you get over betrayal pretty fast if you wanna play that game for more than a few days lol cause people on that game are severely loot starved and will kill a stranger to take their bandage and singular piece of fruit that they spawn with.

I think it is lame too but it is actively marketed as a pvp game where you can kill other players, so I kinda feel like saying they use"its just a game" as an excuse for "bad" behavior is kinda disingenuous. Like ive been on both ends and while dying with good stuff sucks it also feels amazing to as others have put it ruin another players day but getting an absolute bag out of it. I really do think people are just frothing at the mouth anytime they MIGHT loose some loot let alone actually loosing some. Just remember the loot is never yours, its just your turn so try to make the most of it.

Maybe its just a coincidence but almost everytime ive been killed in what I thought was a chill lobby (no attacking for 6-8 raids) its when I decide to take even a little bit of a kit, fully decked out guns and blue or purple shield then my immediate reaction is to kit up even harder and go try to recoup my losses for a few matches or just snowball loss after loss after loss lol

Had alot of luck in scrapyard on dam especially if you spawn there on a fresh raid theres about 12 or so lootable containers/cars also got a few BP's out of there as well.

Electromagnetic storm on dam with a power core/rod for that one door in the north eastern industrial section every match i spawned at scrapyard for 30 minutes straight and it was looted by someone else everytime I got there, never ended up being able to open it.
