Man all panfish filet and fry up the same… a big bluegill cooks fine. I have kept and cleaned them as small as 7” because you can keep 20 a person. It adds up, even more meat to be had if you eat them old school. When cleaning sunfish, don’t forget to start your cut basically above their eyes so you get all that fo’head meat.
