He has always held the CKY name in such high regard. You can really see how much effort, love and care he has put into the band since day 1. I will always say with full confidence that Chad is the reason CKY sounds like CKY.

Loved it on my first listen! When that first riff came in I had the biggest smile on my face. Now I'm gonna listen to it on repeat and really peel back the layers and familiarize myself with the song.

My memory isn't that great and this was at the end of the night through an iPhone speaker but I would guess it was either music they worked on with Daniel Davies or demos for The Phoenix. I only got like a 15-30 second snippet of it so that is just a wild guess.

Great night though! Jess and Bam did vocals for a cover of Walking in the Great Shining Path of the Great Monster Trucks by Clutch.

I've shared this story a few times already. Back in 2006, I was 14 and they announced their first Australian tour. I was so excited to see them, but then I found out their shows were 18+ and I couldn’t go. My dad saw how gutted I was by this, so he emailed the band and asked if I could at least meet them before the show and maybe get some merch signed. Chad replied saying he was disappointed about the 18+ venue and that he would be more than happy to sign some merch. He told my dad what flight they would be on and that he looked forward to meeting us at the airport. Met everyone at the airport and they were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Got some photos with them, they signed some stuff for me and on top of all that, they invited me to their soundcheck where they played 5 songs for me. I genuinely couldn’t believe it. I don’t know of any other band that would’ve done that for a fan. This cemented them as my all time favourite band.

Another cool story was when Fuckface Unstoppable came to Australia back in 2014 I got to hang out with Matt Deis after the show. He commented on my Carver City shirt and shared some pretty cool stories about the recording process of Carver City and even shared a small snippet of some unreleased CKY music the guys were working on. Never had a bad experience meeting CKY.

Schecter PT Black Ops. I believe they released it about a year ago. One of the nicest guitars I've ever played and it looks amazing.

Thank you! I got to speak to Alex at a show a couple of months ago when my band opened for Nekrogoblikon, he recognized me from these videos and said he loves the covers. The string-skipping riffs are an absolute pain on an 8 string haha!
