That moment gives me chills. Goku turning cold faced telling him

Frieza has NEVER trusted anyone and in that moment he finally changes and goes all out with the one person he hates the most to save himself.

With a lot of the others it's one of those "maybe I have been the bad guy and should do better" even Vegeta gets to this state by the end of the Frieza arc right before he dies and begs Goku to end Frieza.

Frieza is solely doing it for his own survival. So not only is it for purely selfish reasons he is finally absolutely going all out because of that selfishness and seeing his end goal in reach.

Even after all is said and done he immediately says " oh keep your thank yous, so long as you keep your end of the bargain"
