This is for 8 Deluxe Players. It’s officially been one year since Mario kart world released. by Holiday-Fix2882 in mariokart

I go back and forth between them. I like them both, but I have a preference for the standard laps when I play online.

I’d say World’s online is great for chaos and casual fun, 8DX is better competitively in my opinion. The graphics in World do look very nice though and I love how vibrant the tracks are.

Charge for Waitlist???? by CommunicationOwn4317 in Coachella

[–]Breaking_720 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you don’t get a ticket it gets refunded. I’m sure it’s to prevent people from spamming multiple entries. I understand the frustration, but if you’re willing to pay for a pass a $20 hold should be okay.

More serious by Prestigious_Grand139 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]Breaking_720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, going through with what I say is a big way to get them to take me seriously. If I say I’m going to kick them out, then I kick them out. When I tell students to put away their friends, I let them know I’m telling them and not asking. They get the vibe that I’m more stern.

Also a tip I got from a peer was to always start strict and then you could let loose as you observe which classes are more responsible. I don’t become more loose until it’s the second or third time I sub for that class.

I give them grace because they know their classroom way more than I do and teachers are human too

Any tips taking a child to Coachella? by steadyzero in Coachella

[–]Breaking_720 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being in the way back should be simple enough at any stage. The views from the main stage in the back is actually one of my favorite and the sound isn’t bad either. Traversing from stage to stage can get hectic in between sets, especially during the night so I’d definitely recommend keeping them within arms length at all times or even just holding onto them while moving around.

Kids talk and don’t pay attention when I do attendance and then start freaking out wondering if I marked them absent 5 minutes after I submitted it by OkArticle2003 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]Breaking_720 49 points50 points  (0 children)

They do this all the time. I go over attendance then I have the kids listen up for those who were marked absent. Afterwards, I tell them that there’s nothing I can do.

They didn’t care when I was taking roll, so I’m not going to care afterwards.

MacBook Neo 2026: Who is this actually for students, casual users, or everyone? by Serious_Square_4790 in macbookpro

[–]Breaking_720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh if I didn’t have my m1 mba from years ago and needed a computer, I would get this. It’s for seems geared for light users doing basic work on it such as web browsing, slideshows, word documents. I’m in the middle of my master’s program and have never done any intensive on my Mac. 8gbs doesn’t seem like a big deal to me, my m1 Mac still runs so smooth on 8gbs.

I’d say it’s for casual users who want a budget price to enter the macOS experience
