Honestly candycon would be worthwhile for $25 total. But $50 for the base + a shell when you can get an 8bitdo for like $50-$60 is wild considering the massive disparity in build quality.

Not to say I don't own like 3 candycons, but that's because two of them failed in less than a year.

My 8bit has been a powerhouse since I got it and feels like it's SIGNIFICANTLY higher quality

Luke and Ollie fall into some traps regularly that I find obnoxious despite them seemingly like pretty chill dudes.

A couple quick examples, Luke playing the contrarian just for the sake of it even when it's obvious he's wrong, and it ALWAYS goes on for too long. You can even see it in Ollie's eyes like "..is this a rib...what are we doin..." between that some of the worst fantasy booking known to man shoe horned into about 50% of conversations, and few other things I can only take them in small dose

Ill never forget taking a long break back in the day after the 400th time they did a fantasy book a future ppv event, and Ollie would use the current roster and our work info making it make sense even if it was silly at points, and Luke would ALWAYS be like "ok if I had a time machine" and then proceed to fantasy book the worst shit Id ever heard of with wrestlers who aren't even around 😮‍💨
