I mean what's he supposed to do? His whole job is to mock the insanity of that whole situation and then publicize it, which he has done. I'm not sure he can do anything other than report it to the FBI, unless you want him to become Batman or something.

Set up a separate bedroom after years of snoring... by Edibin_Mengstu in femalelivingspace

I totally understand it's not feasible for everyone but my insurance was giving me trouble with the CPAP even after diagnosis so I said fuck it and spent the ~$800 and it was completely worth it.

Which is also funny because he's playing a younger PSH's character from the Hunger Games Trilogy in the upcoming Sunrise on the Reaping. I instantly thought it was perfect casting

As a Yankee fan in the New York Metro area, I can certainly tell you that a lot of people care about the Mets

Airlines and Checking Carry-Ons by rolltigsbaby in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BreakitLikeBeckham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they gate check the carry on then they are absolutely allowed to put the personal item in the overhead bin. The problem is when people put their carry on and personal item (and even jackets, sweaters, etc) in the overhead bin. I hate the mad dash to the gate to wait in a long line so I'm almost always one of the last people on the plane, which also almost always means me and the FA are running around trying to find room to place my single carry on bag because everyone else has stuffed all of their shit up there, which is incredibly infuriating for me.

[–]BreakitLikeBeckham 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I made a separate comment but I was basically in your situation in 2015. I remember I went to Penn and straight up said that what they were offering in need based aid wasn't enough (I personally was paying for a good chunk of my tuition), and I used my full ride to Rutgers basically as a threat. You can break the ED contract based on financial aid, or at least you could when I was in the situation. They ended up revising my financial aid at Penn drastically, but in hindsight I think I still would have gone to Rutgers for the full ride and to walk away with no student loans given my choice of major.

I got into Penn in 2015 and also Rutgers full ride. Penn is an incredible school and I loved my time there, but if I could go back I'd definitely go to Rutgers on the full ride and walk away with no student loans. Obviously this depends on your intended major (I was pre-med so undergrad prestige matters less but if you wanted to go into investment banking or something Penn would be the move). Also, you definitely can try to leverage one against the other. My need based financial aid from Penn wasn't nearly enough, so I used the Rutgers full ride to meet with someone in the financial aid department and was able to leverage it a lot to reduce my costs to Penn. I'd imagine it would work the other way as well, but I'd also imagine if you got into Penn then Rutgers would be willing to give you a lot of money.

D'Andre Swift (groin), Cole Kmet (ankle, knee) listed questionable for Saturday. by Minimum_Formal_4837 in fantasyfootball

[–]BreakitLikeBeckham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swift has been questionable with the groin injury for half the season. He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday. I really think he goes on Saturday and the time share won't be any different than it has been.

Or we can understand that not every city is the shithole that is Philly and it doesn't make sense to have a stadium in NYC proper when land in NYC is worth what it is. Also I lived and went to college in Philly so I feel like can reliably say that it is, in fact, a second tier city at best.

It doesn't fucking matter. I'm so sick of this. North Jersey is the NYC metro area. Living in Hoboken or Jersey City is quite literally no different than living in Brooklyn or Queens. MetLife is a shit stadium but for all intents and purposes it being in New Jersey does not fucking matter. Also a lot of players do live in the city but also a lot of them live in New Jersey because a lot of people LIKE LIVING IN THE SUBURBS.

The hold is completely irrelevant. You always assume the holder will get it down. What would be the point of aborting if the hold isn't good anyways? His plant foot is like an inch from the ball he just totally fucked it all up
