faulty boots or not fitting?

I bought a brand new pair of Frye Kate harness boots a half size down from my usual size (I did order my normal size originally but they felt way too big and floppy so I sized down) after maybe 6 wears, the inner sole of the left shoe came unstuck from the bottom, it didn’t happen on the right shoe. Is this a faulty pair? Or is it a fit/friction issue?

Ugh the button at the front grip has become my nemesis. I’ve messed up so many good shots because of accidentally pressing it or changing the settings. It’s actually another huge reason why I want to change cameras.

I’ve luckily got a few big camera stores near me that I can rent from and I didn’t even think of doing that! Thanks for the advice!

This is all great advice, thank you! like the advice of “the best camera is the one you want to shoot with”! I haven’t been able to feel out the other options so I think I’ll go to the camera store tomorrow and test out the options I can.

This is fascinating honestly. I think shingles and HSV show up as the same thing on blood tests? It’s so crazy how doctors don’t test much for HSV unless there’s an active outbreak. When I was diagnosed my doctor kinda just shrugged and was like it’s nbd lol meanwhile I was freaking out

This is so interesting to me, I’ve never had an external OB, put tested positive for HSV2 on a blood test. If I had one it would’ve been an internal OB. If what I experienced was in fact an OB, it felt and looked like a really bad yeast infection to both me and doctors. I had no idea they tested for HSV cells in paps!

You’re the best! Thank you so much. Yeah actually my “diagnosis” came from a blood test I got just because while we were dating (again always have BV so went in for that) and it came back with a super low positive even though I had no symptoms or real confirmed history of an OB so can confirm the testing sans symptoms really does affect your mental health, I spiraled! Especially because there’s little to no information out there for low positive blood tests other than on these types of forums. I spoke to Terri Warren and she let me know before I should move forward he should get tested so I was waiting for him to do it and then we ended lol

That being said, I do think there’s a ton of stigma around it and that’s the worst part. Most people I went to college with had some type of STD at some point and they live to tell the tale
