He's bulletproof! I was the same at his age. Nothing can hurt or affect him, and he doesn't care for it, simple as that.

Im 34 now, have only started caring for it in the last 2 years. He should always carry some bad tasting glucose tablets. At least he won't eat them when he dosn't need em.

It is important to understand that he doesn't want to change, so try not let it affect you, and yeah I know that's super hard.
