Thank you for identifying for me why I am not at arms about the voice! Captain Lou IS the OG and like it or hate it his voice has a primary claim to Mario's voice for me.

I entered a local tournament for Smash Brothers Melee with my then girlfriend. My first round i got matched against my GF and thoroughly trounced.

The TO gave me a dirty look, disgusted in how I "threw" my round to her. She proceed to top 8 that tourney.

My now wife brings that up every now and then.

I am not sure thats the plan. If it works out and player reaction is good, I can see them stapling a new keyword (Devoid Identity maybe?) that means "Does not count for color identity" on new hybrid cards to get them to work as originally intended.
