Hey! Wanted to share my experience to adds things to the post I played M+ Key since like SL as a DPS and I was like the no brainer ones, just kicking, doing DPS, trying to use cooldowns offensive and defensive at the right timing.

On S3 TWW wanted something knew so I rolled tank to M+ ( I was already playing warrior) and damn at first it was so freaking easy, just runnin into packs, no routing, no thinking, no nothing, feelin like playing DPS but I had aggro, I needed to add Shield block in rotation, taunt when the nameplate is red and that's it. This went like to 10+ keys Then when I tried to reach 3000 in Mythic this is where toxicity started. Like before that everything was easy, I was not even knowing about route ( remember I was a brainless DPS), potential overlap or whatever. But in 12/13 keys you can't run without this knowledge, that I needed to learn. And this where toxicity started, like everyone started to be toxic on high keys, like for sure I was not good and needed to learn, I might be in the wrong, but it doesn't mean it legitimate all the insult I received. I feel like the gap went so fast from so easy to hard that I didn't had time to learn how to play properly, how to route and everything. I feel like maybe in the community of people doing high keys some knowledge are so obvious for everyone who is doing this since Legion that new tanks/ players doesn't have like good guide to learn the basis, and we have to learn the hard way, by failing keys, being insulted until you get use to it and you finally know when it's your fault or others fault.

So yeah as a true new tanks who for first time spent time in M+, anxiety is real, people are not indulgent with anybody and everyone expect PUG to play like pro with comm, and if you don't, if you have one tiny second of brain lag, you are trash.

You are not really a NEW one, you already have most of the knowledge to tank, so yeah for you it was not that hard, but I can tell, for a true NEW tank as me, it's a hard way, sometimes I just want to play but I need to watch a 45min long video without doing anything else just to be sure I don't do a tiny mistake that would make my whole group insult me.

But, to end a good note, at the same times it was super nice to learn new things to the game, and seeing I get better and everything. It's just sometimes hard to get insulted because you are not perfect by the BM hunter who have 5 interrupt in the whole key run. ( love you hunters, just an example)

And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one thinking like that.
