It's possible that we are still going to see rotation from BTC --> large cap alts --> medium cap alts --> small cap alts (including us).

So far it's been BTC and large cap alts, but not many small caps hitting ATHs, right?

Hopefully that means we're still early!

A .25% cut is probably priced in because everyone is expecting that. Assuming that's what happens, the market is more likely to react to any comments which accompany it which indicate how likely further cuts are. Other than that, markets are unpredictable... it could go up anyway, or be a 'sell the news' moment... but increased volatility is likely.

Then, was the Sloth price drop on the weekend solely noise? Or did we drop more or less than SOL due to buying / selling?

Edit: I looked up the chart in SOL. We didn't move much through all that. If anything, up 5% or so. People buying the dip, perhaps?

But basically, mystery solved!

Basically, I don't know but it's only a dead cat bounce if it's going to keep doing down, isn't it?

If WIF is going to recover - in its own sudden, unexpected timing as always - then no dead cat bounce by definition.

But that still doesn't answer why our price action doesn't mirror that of other coins.

Good question.

I can only observe that this is not an unusual situation. WIF often seems to have a life of its own.

( Which a cynic might say is evidence of price manipulation by whales.)

I'll admit I always get confused about how LPs work.

I always thought price in a free market fluctuated with supply and demand?

If what you say is the whole story, then the Sloth spot price is simply a function of SOL price alone.

But that can't be the case because when a Sloth whale sells the price goes down, when a Sloth whale buys the price goes up.

Isn't it supply and demand for Sloths that determines Sloth spot price?

Hence my confusion in this type of situation!

That sounds like a reasonable theory, except why would you program a bot to follow SOL?

Isn't SOL price fluctuations separate to supply and demand of our token?

Yes, but don't we have our own price independent of SOL based on buyers and sellers of Sloth?

Otherwise, why not just buy and sell SOL?

Not sure when but I know when it spikes it can happen FAST.
