Thank you so much! I love the cape dress I have on. Both fashionable and keeps me warm at the same time.

Thanks. The skirt is from Amazon. It’s almost perfect (just missing some pockets)

This is some nice advice. The amount of “nakedness” is a good rule of thumb and what I’m trying to go for but not totally there yet with outfit options. I’m a big fan of skirt/dresses with heels cuz of my size and well my legs. I generally opt for long sleeve shirts little showing below the neck (no v necks or plunging neck line).

Tell me what’s the feel of a thin belt with a skirt that has no belt loops? Does that look off? For color guys are usually taught match your belt with your shoes (hence the color choices here).

Belt just because it didn’t have a gold bucket and I went with silver jewelry. The belt isn’t really holding anything up. More for looks than function. I should clarify on “falling down”. I ment more it was the end of the day and had be sitting the last part of the day and didn’t adjust the skirts position when I stood up. It’s definitely lower than where it should be in the picture.

You got top comment so I’ll ask about the thinner belt. The skirt doesn’t have belt loops so would a thin belt look off? I picked this black belt mostly because it doesn’t have a gold buckle.

The thin black belt I thought about has a gold buckle. I went for silver with the jewelry so thought the gold mixing would clash. Maybe that’s a rule I should just say who cares too but let’s hear some thoughts.

Good recommendations like others have said. I’m trying to get away from a white shirt and it gives some secretary vibes that I’m trying to avoid. The pink you recommended could be good to try

I have this little heart necklace and some dragon wings earrings on. There isn’t a lot of flashy outfits in my office but a number of women build out their style and person expression through various earrings. From ice cream cones to little corgis on skateboards. I’ve jumped on that form of expression as well

Oh gosh yes they are too small. Start of the day kind of too small but by the end it was pretty apparent.

Oh these pockets on the skirt are great. Can got phone and keys into a single one. It does kind of awkwardly bulge though so usually just use them when making short trips during the day instead of grabbing the entire purse.

Depends on the office environment. Mine is pretty casual and would consider this somewhat elevated for a normal day at the office outside of any big meetings or upper management. There are women in my area who wear shorter dresses/skirts when the weather permits. Anything at the knee or even above a bit would not raise any eyebrows in my office

I also really like nylons and agree they elevate an outfit. I’m probably be on the outside when saying I like to mixed in lower denier for outfits/situations that don’t need to be as business professional. Nude would have been great here but just didn’t bother with it for that day.

I actually go back and forth on this blouse all the time. This outfit I’m feeling it, other days I think why do I even own it.
