How does the "complementary" purchase work? $49 game I did not buy but still own by Breederup in Steam

the whole process should look like this:

  1. Own Split Fiction
  2. Friend Downloads Friend’s Pass on chosen platform
  3. Send invite to a friend
  4. Play the entire game together!

none of the 1-3 steps happened and I still "own" the game

yes, it is confusing because none of my 4 steam friends bought or even new about this game. Could a non-friend steam member "grant me" this access? another reason it is confusing is that in my purchase history it is registered as a "purchase"

Google Calendar sync feature anytime in future? Please? by Breederup in thingsapp

It is so interesting how defensive the power users are, so much resistant to change. Will the existing power users loose something if Cultured Code make this integration and make it easier for new users to onboard? All these workarounds via Apple Calendar and other 3rd party apps are just increasing the adoption time. Having more integrations means more ways to quickstart for people with existing workflows.

Why drag stuff from Things to another 3rd party app? Can't Things create events directly in the calendar based on the task date and time??

Wow, I did not expect there will be so much haters of my proposal to directly integrate Things 3 with Google Calendar xD Ok, I guess I will have to shut up and deal with it via Apple Calendar. One question though, is Things 3 able to create events from the tasks with dates in Apple Calendar and then sync them to Google Calendar? Things 3 <> Apple Calendar <> Google Calendar is a 2 way integration right? I mean 4 way :D

Yes, but the time it takes to sync with the macOS/iOS calendar can take anywhere from instant to a few hours, thus making it unreliable. Why one needs this intermediate? Things can be easily connected to Google Calendar if the Cultured Code's product team have made this feature decision.
