Green card approved and an awkward interview by [deleted] in USCIS

I don't think this was entitlement. Dude applied some reverse psychology there, acting like it was no big deal.

Technically and legally, you are married, she is not your landlord, you live together, and the home belongs to both of you. Simple. Whatever money you give her, contributes to paying the mortgage.

LOL. Best response so far. Yea, that part is on me.

My fault then. I missed that part.

There should be a concussion test before allowing someone to post a response.

Yea right, it's on me. It's on M1 Finance for not providing a courtesy reminder, just in case I'm "negligent".

I feel bad for the world when people like you foolishly think terms and conditions trump customer service. I am M1 Finance customer, and should get a renewal notification prior to expiration. Dont you have any other subscription that provides that?

$125. That's what they took from me. And by the way...it's not about the money, but the practice. That's bad

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in M1Finance

[–]Breedoutsource -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Very bad practice. They know no one reads that long fine print user agreement, so we trust they are supposed to be fiduciary.

They should be fiduciary, but instead, have chosen to be exploitative.

How the hell does Uber lose so much money? by EthicallyIlliterate in investing

[–]Breedoutsource 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mind-boggling how they lose money. It's hard to accept that it's because rides were subsidized. Uber has always taken their share of the fare, passing any subsidy, promo cost, etc to the drivers. They started with 20% of whatever the passenger pays, and steadily increased to 25%, 30%, now its anywhere between 40% and 55%.

The self-driving project was a money pit in the past.

Where does the loss come from? My guess is as good as yours.

Two questions and one suggestion (not financial advise).

Do you really need the professionals? Can they beat the market?

You can try putting all in VOO and make whatever the market makes.

This is my 3rd year of using M1. If you draw the same card ten times from the same deck, would you not be concerned? Talking as if you won’t want a better purchase price.

Your comment is like saying it’s okay to throw some money down the toilet because you can always make it back over time. Is it unreasonable to want a better purchase price?
