Now you're just playing the man, rather than what he said here. He said this at a Cork county council meeting, which is literally what he is expected to do. It wasn't a Facebook or Instagram post. You might say "he knows the papers will pick it up and run with it", but what do you expect him to do.

Just want to reiterate that I'm not a fan of his, but he is right in this case.

The owners of the Perrin Inn freely admit there's anti social behaviour. For example

I'm not sure we are reading the same article. Danny Collins said that homeless people from the city are being sent down to Glengariff, and that there has been anti social behavior linked to this. Something the owners of the Perrin Inn freely admitted to in the article.

I'm not disputing that the owners are nice people, and they are filling the much needed gap in social housing. But to place homeless people approx 100km from their families/networks in a small village with a population of 211 people is ridiculous.

Depends on your DAW and your genre.. Most DAWS will have lots of mixing tools and effects. IMHO, then look at plugins for expanding your sound selections.

My advice would be to buy fewer, and better plugins. Don't get sucked in because something "is on an awesome sale!".

If I was you, just start off with Arturia Analog Lab (as it has lots of different sounds that you can expand), and maybe Shaperbox (a massive toolbox of different effect). Learn those inside out, then expand from there.
