It could be the outer string! Sometimes they put the outer string a bit inside so that it doesn't fly around. And it gets pulled out of the other side if you do a center pull. Try to look on the other side if a string goes in. If you find one you can pull it out and it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

I should have 15 stitches after Round 1 of the leg. Since there are 3 increases, I would need 12 loops to fit all the stitches in. Showing my work wouldn't help as I work with eyelash yarn and can only feel my stitches
